Nireth Sierra Sabalza, MSc

I am a Marine Biologist from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, with a Master's degree in Marine Sciences from the same institution. My interests are focused on ecology, conservation, and restoration, particularly of corals and reefs. I am currently working on a project for assisted fertilization and breeding of mass-spawning coral larvae in the Los Corales del Rosario and San Bernardo National Natural Park, aiming to contribute to the recovery of these reefs and increase the number of recruits in the medium term. During my Master's studies, I worked on the trophic ecology of two commercially important fish species in the northern Caribbean of Colombia.
